"Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here."

Therapy for Therapists and Healthcare Workers

Healthcare professionals and fellow therapists often dedicate themselves to caring for others while facing significant emotional, mental, and professional demands. Working in a helping profession during this particular political landscape is also a unique challenge. I offer a confidential space to process these challenges, prioritize personal well-being, and sustain a fulfilling career.

I work with therapists, physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals navigating stress, burnout, compassion fatigue, moral distress, secondary traumatic stress, and the unique pressures of caring for others. Together, we explore the personal and professional factors contributing to these challenges while identifying practical strategies to promote resilience, balance, and long-term well-being.

Our work may focus on managing anxiety, perfectionism, imposter feelings, work-life boundaries, difficult clinical experiences, career transitions, leadership responsibilities, or the emotional impact of supporting patients through illness, trauma, and loss. Therapy also provides space to strengthen self-awareness, reconnect with personal values, and develop sustainable practices that support both professional effectiveness and personal fulfillment.

As a therapist, I understand the unique experience of being a helping professional. Whether you are seeking support for a specific challenge or looking to maintain your own mental health while caring for others, I provide a collaborative, compassionate, and confidential environment where you can focus on your own growth and well-being.
